Selective demolition included removal of the fireplace mantel and stone surround, along with granite countertop slabs and backsplashes in adjacent areas. The existing firebox, cabinetry, and other surrounding elements were left in place. Removed materials were hauled away and demolition debris cleared, leaving the work areas clean and ready for the next phase of renovation.
